GEESON Abydachs Seize the Night Veteran Dog or Bitch (2 Entries) Puppy Dog (2 Entries) Post Graduate Dog (1 Entry)
Post Graduate Bitch (1 Entry)
Limit Bitch (2 Entries) Open Bitch (1 Entry) I would like to thank the committee for the invitation to judge at their Championship show which I enjoyed immensely. I would also like to thank my very capable steward. DACHSHUND LONG-HAIRED The exhibits without exception were presented in good condition with well groomed coats, clean teeth and well tended feet. I found their temperaments sound and all appeared to be enjoying their day out. In general apart from the main winners I felt heads were a bit heavy and plain, there were several with upright shoulders short in ribbing and long in the loin. Most of the exhibits moved with drive and enthusiasm which was pleasing. V 1 Hutton, Owlery Majestic Of Dachalune ShCM. 10 year old shaded red dog with a good strong correct shaped head. Correct dentition. He had a good keel and underline and his coat was in great condition considering his age. A very happy dog who moved around the ring well on good tight feet. 2 Hutton, Frankanwen Suremagic For Dachalune. Though this dog was 2 years younger than the first he looked older. Perhaps this was because he was out of coat and reluctant to move around the ring. He was similar in construction to one. PD 1 Geeson, Abydachs Seize The Night. 10 month old red dog with a beautiful outline. He has a lovely well shaped head and eye and correct dentition. Good length of neck flowing into well laid shoulders and level topline. Prominent keel and enough ribbing. He moved with style and drive around the ring on well kept tight feet. My Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Breed. JD 1 Fossett, Brysdax Jack's Back. 13 month old red dog. He has a super keel and enough ribbing though because of his longer loin he tended to crab slightly on the move. PGD 1 Fossett, Brysdax Second To None. This red dog has a good keel and depth of chest but is a bit long in the loin. He is another who tended to crab on the move. He has good strong teeth. LD 1 Hagan and Borsuk, What A Corker At Follypaws. This Black/Tan 5 year old has quite a nice outline with a good keel and depth of chest. He moved true coming and going and with drive around the ring. Unfortunately he was a bit out of coat. OD 1 Hutton, River Rumpus Through Dachalune ShCM, This dog has a lovely outline. He has a good keel, ribcage and underline. A nice head and eye and good teeth. He is in good coat and showed well moving around the ring with confidence and drive. Reserve Best Dog. 2 Rolo Rascal Over Dachalune ShCM. Another dog from this kennel. He has the most beautiful coat colour. His head is a bit plain. He has a good keel and enough ribbing but is longer cast than one. He moved soundly on tight feet. JB 1 Hutton, Daamistico Destiny At Dachalune. Very elegant red bitch with a beautiful head and good shaped eye. Good teeth. She has a good length of neck flowing into well laid back shoulders and level topline. She has a good keel and enough ribbing but is a bit long in the loin. She moved with style and drive. A pity she was out of coat, though what she had, was of good texture. Best Bitch
