I was delighted with this my first Championship judging appointment and would like to thank the committee for the appointment their wonderful hospitality and to the exhibitors who gave me their entries. I cannot leave out my very able bodied Ring Steward Ian Deans who did a wonderful job in assisting me and keeping me on the right track. My entry was mixed in type and I was looking for exhibits that moved out freely and of course meeting the breed standard requirements. VD or B ( 2 ) Two lovely senior ladies entered 1st Blacks CH Bassodon Ditta Von Tess I have had the pleasure of assessing this lady previously and I am pleased to see that t she still loves to show and enjoyed her time in the ring. She is very typy to the breed with a lovely reach of neck, well laid shoulders, enough ribbing and nice topline, moved with drive round the ring. 2nd Hill &Niall Drakesleat Material Girl at Kanstul a lady more senior in age but still hadn’t forgotten what was required of her. Correct head eye and reach of neck, she kept her topline when moving and stacked but didn’t quite have the drive of first. MPD 3 (1) 1 Jones Bimini Starstruck Nice headed puppy with good reach of neck enough forechest and ribbing. On the move he was a little straight behind but he did keep his topline moving and stacked . 2 Grants Granhoward Geoffrey. Nice dark brindle with good head, length of neck and topline Still needs to mature. PD No entries JD 3 1 Lancasters Pellismer Ottdeal Good proportions lovely head and neck I would like a little more length of rib moved well keeping his topline on the go 2 Smiths Baltiyskiy Indiana Jones imp rus (ATC AR01503RUS ) Excellent wire coat slightly taller on the leg didn’t settle well enough on the drive therefore didn’t cover the ground of the first. Displayed a very happy temperament 3 Hunts Earthsea’s Billy The Kid YD 3 1 Kents CH Barratini Teddyboy at Lokmadi JW I have followed this lads path through his career and he pleases me in so many ways. Well balanced all through, he has a good houndy head dark oval eye and a lovely expression. He moves freely with good drive. Pleased to award him CC & BOB 2 Barneys Verrami En Trac Pleasing head dark oval eye good reach of neck. Good angulation front and back. Such a shame he didn’t move today but I understand he had cut his paw earlier in the week. 3 Smiths Alpheratz Ulises PGD2 1 Marston Teals Lordscairnie Moment of Love Good head mouth and eye reachy neck and level topline well muscled rear moved out well. He didn’t put in the extra effort to cover the ground in the challenge and this cost him in the awards 2 Livingstons Portalutra the Glory 4 year old who is slightly overweight displayed an excellent forechest but flying a flag tail on the move which spoiled his topline nice coat. LD 3 1Dunns Barratini Danzon To Ashridge A quality lad with a very pleasing outline well angulated quarters moved out well could do with a bit more forechest, used well angulated rear to drive forward. 2 Grants Barratini Ted Astaire at Grandhoward Nice looking boy with conical shaped head good dark eye. Good reach of neck flowing to well placed shoulders. Moved well but didn’t quite cover the ground as first 3 Flowers Bingobongo Gregory OD 2 (1 ) 1 Haywards Foxearth Fiddler On The Roof a lot to like about this boy excellent red coat well balanced throughout ribbing carried well back nice tight feet moved out well close up for the challenge RCC MPB 5 1 Salisbury Barratini Hot Chick At Brocklwood Lovely dark brindle well balanced displaying elegance when moving out runs up a tad at the moment but this hopefully will level out with maturity 2 Daykins Barratini Hot Stuff Litter sister to first another well balanced lady super temperament moved out well but her sisters elegance was what took my eye. 3 Hopper Arbennik Sootalina PB6 ( 1 ) 1 Morris Pennywave Top Tottie BP Brindle bitch of lovely type good reach of neck into well laid shoulders well balanced through out correct harsh coat a super puppy moved out well earning her award of BPIB 2 Baxters Hotwire Pick N Mix Smaller lighter brindle bitch she did play her owner up today and was quite naughty on the table she did however stand long enough for me to asses her and she is well balanced but does need to settle down and i’m sure she will excel 3Holgates Nadavin Bewitched NAF. JB 2 1 Prices Samlane Belleza Feminine head good eye mouth and lovely reach of neck firm topline and adequate length of rib. Moved ok but such a shame her handler was not able to show her to her potential on the move. 2 Flowers Bingobongos Felliciana Another lovely bitch from these kennels super coat and looking good in profile bit high on the leg and needs to firm up in rear moved ok. 3 Blacks Bassadons pixilated YB3 (1) 1 Walkers Roselle Irene Lovely head well balanced through out good harsh coat a tad close behind but moved out well 2 Clements Blidworth Beauty Lovely bitch such a pretty girl well angulated and such a happy happy girl unfortunately poor dentition let her down. Moved out well and displayed a lovely temperament. PGB6 1 Walkers Deepdax Perrie Compact bitch rear angulation ok, good front, kept her topline moved well. 2 Morris Banburg Black Opal At Stargang Not in the best of moods today but still displayed good qualities has well placed shoulders good spring of rib moved out well but kept her eye on me at all times. 3Flowers & Smith Benzden Lacoste Pink LB 6 (1) 1 Jones Bimini Starlight Express A nice girl in harsh jacket well balanced head and good front well angulated moved ok. 2 Hoppers Arbennik Atlantek Reach Lovely feminine head and expression well placed shoulders level topline would prefer more forechest moved well 3 Marston Teals Lordscairnie Rhythym Of Love OB 3 1 Daykins Barratini Hot Gossip CC I like this girl she has plenty to admire and have competed against her many times she has a beautiful but strong head good reachy neck lovely forechest neat underline and sound angulation which she used to full potential to move around the ring driving forward all the way and easily winning the CC and BOS I have since found out that this was her crowing glory. 2 Lancasters Pellismer Deals A Winner A lovely bitch with feminine expression good depth and length of ribbing good ground clearance well presented RCC
