MIN W/H – VD (1) 1 Black’s Ch Bassodon Bilbie, 9 years dog of beautiful type & overall balance. Very handsome masculine head, good neck & front, & stands correctly on his front. Excellent firm topline, tailset & hindquarters. Excellent chest, just deep enough. Moved so correctly & freely. Presented in excellent coat & condition. Overall an excellent example of a small Dachshund. CC, BOB. MPD (1) 1 Grant’s Granhoward Edward, large framed puppy of 8 months, pleasant head, rather a round eye. Good over the front, firm topline, good hindquarters. Moved well enough. PD (1) 1 Russell’s Russteck Wyre In The Blood, 10 months dog of lovely type & size. Pleasant head, rather narrow, good neck & front. Firm topline, good strong hindquarters. Chest is well ribbed back, but needs to deepen for all over balance. Very free & easy mover. BP. JD (1) 1 Howells’ Fallowmill Sydney, very nice dog of 15 months, scores on his very balanced outline. Very pleasant head, good front standing, firm in topline, somewhat high tailset. Moved well but needs to tighten n front action. Presented in excellent coat & condition. OD (2) 1 Hayward’s Ch Foxearth Fiddler On The Roof, 4 years dog, red, of lovely type & outline. Lovely head & expression, good neck & flow into his excellent front. Firm topline, excellent tailset & nicely angulated hindquarters. Presented in excellent coat & condition. RCC; 2 Barratini Ted Astaire at Granhoward, nice dog of 2 years, more slight in build than the winner. Nice head, good in neck & front, tends to stand under himself. Good enough in movement. MPB (1) 1 Fulton’s Bothlyn Miss Money Penny, lovely baby of 7 months, very good to go over but a little overcome by being at a show & could have presented herself more positively. Lovely head, good front & body, good topline & hindquarters. PB (3) 1 Meredith’s Deepdax Let’s Dance, 10 months bitch, forward for her age, & very steady in character. Sweet head, good front & topline, good over her hindquarters. Scored over 2 on shorter coupling. Moved very well; 2 B Miss Money Penny; 3 Barratini Chatters. JB (2) 1 Kay’s Kaytian Kissed By Fire, smaller framed bitch of 15 months, red. Pretty head, rather worried expression. Good front & topline, very good tailset & hindquarters. Very good & free mover; 2 Ubu Belarus Nahla to Heleanne, another young bitch not very happy about being handled, an age thing perhaps. Rather a strong head, with deep earset. Good neck & front, good topline, hindquarters rather less angulated. YB (6,1a) 1 Shone’s Phantasia Lady, young bitch of just 14 months, who is lovely all over. Beautiful head, lovely neck so well set into her shoulders, excellent topline, tailset & hindquarters. Lovely mover, so free & powerful. I just wish that she didn’t sink down on her hindquarters, as when she stands herself she has the most beautiful outline. I just loved her! RCC; 2 Bothlyn Dancing Queen, 19 months bitch, very steady in character. Nice enough head, with deeper earset. Very good neck & front, good & firm topline, good strong hindquarters. Very good mover; 3 Kaytian Kissed By Fire. PGB (4) 1 B Dancing Queen; 2 Stargang Compania Faberge, pleasant bitch. Very pretty head, good front, rather obscured by coat, firm topline. Good hindquarters. Moved well enough; 3 Ubu Cracklin Rosie for Heleanne. LB (7,2) 1 Kirkwood’s Helydon Fabulous Freya, lovely 2 years bitch of lovely type & outline. Pleasant head, good neck & very well angulated front. Excellent topline, tailset & hindquarters. Presented in excellent condition but coat could have been shorter. Moved very well, & freely; 2 Pennywave Top Totti, another lovely bitch, scoring on her ultra free action. Pleasant head, good front, topline & tailset. Tends to stand high over her hindquarters; 3 Samlane Belleza. OB (7,1) 1 Russell’s Russteck I Dreamed A Dream, very beautiful in all & a most typical Dachshund. At 3 years of age is fully mature, & she moved so freely & well. Beautiful head & expression, lovely neck so well set into well set back shoulders, deep body, just the right amount of ground clearance, excellent bone & feet. Stands so well on her nicely angulated hindquarters. I later was told that she was winning her third CC after a string of Reserves. Congratulations; 2 Stargang Walkin On Sunshine, a very nice bitch, who was very well presented & handled. Very pretty head, good front & hindquarters. Moved very well; 3 Drakesleat Prim N Proper for Alncroft. |
